* PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION *

-----------------------------------------

AIRCRAFT TO USE

It is advised that you use default aircraft as other flyers can see you better, and you wont be replaced by something different within flight simulator. We always mostly fly fast GA Aircraft.

-----------------------------------------

FLIGHT SIMULATION DETAILS: HOP : 22  SUNDAY 8th  OCTOBER 2006.

HOP WILL BEGIN AT 7.35PM (UK TIME) TONIGHT

Here is the Map of this Hop/flight/general including the Waypoints we will be using.

...
...

AIRCRAFT SPEED RECCOMENDATIONS

During the tours we have users which use a variety of Aircraft etc. Some of the aircraft are faster than the other ones, so im going to provide a speed reccomendation for each hop. This way everyone will be able to stay together without rushing. This is NOT a rule, just a reccomendation for my Flight Simulation Tours!

For this hop/flight, the aircraft speed reccomendation will be:

160

Paul can you give me a heading and a location for your garden? Do you have ILS or is your garden only VFR? I'll be coming in the Turbo Baron so if you would clean out the "runway" I'd be very happy.

LOL

Crash Wink

I'm circling Broomy Hill at the moment and running out of gas. Can you hurry a bit?

...it's a funny old do....all this getting "kicked out" malarky...

It never happens to me, and I think it's 'cos I dont have a "Router", or Service Pack 2 installed, (so no Port problems, Firewalls, etc)... Grin..!

I blame all life's little problems on Service Pack 2...

Paul, I don't have a router, just a USB modem. It certainly has nothing to do with SP2. If so I would have been kicked out plenty more times. It has something to do with other people not opening up all their ports. Now for example yesterday I got kicked out the moment a player with the name Singapore 657 came on. I managed to come back but just a minute later things went wrong again the moment we were about to take off. I tried to connect again for the following 30 minutes but without any succes.

I just tried it again, it's 4.18 GMT nobody is online, and I can connect everytime without any problem.

Oh well like I said better luck tomorrow in the Aussie tour. See you then,

Crash Wink

Hi Crash...!

It's still strange....
Many of my flying chums on our flights get thrown off/disconnected many times during the sessions....
...but it never happens to me, either on my previous Dial-Up*, or now on Broadband**.... Grin...!

I often wonder if it's because I don't have any blocking programs like Firewalls, Anti-Virus, etc, running in the background which may prevent the Multiplayer Service Provider from gaining access to my computer for the process of running the Multiplayer program...Wink...!

Shhhhh....My drawbridge is always down during our flights... Wink...!

Other Folks connection problems don't seem to affect me...
....Na-nana-na-na...
...Tee-Hee...Grin...!

Paul The Invincible...Grin...!

P.S. Just in case you are wondering, I do carry out regular Virus/Spyware, etc, checks every two minutes...(I exaggerate)... Wink...!

* US Robotics 56k PCI Modem.
** Thomson Speedtouch 330 USB Modem.
No Routers.

Hi Paul,

as a matter of fact I use the same Speedtouch modem you have. It might be a thought to shutdown my firewall although I don't like the idea of leaving my computer open for everyone to enter. I use Zonealarm and never had any trouble connecting to anything with it running. Like I said it might have been coincidence that I got disconnected the moment Singapore 657 came online. I'll try again tomorrow with Zonealarm off. See if it makes any difference.
