Simply put ? What is the best way to get Add-on aircraft to actually show up on my list...I go through all the install instructions and then its not there.
I don't mind paying for a software package,,,just as long as it really works !!!!
I assume that these programs are also backwards compatable to older FS versions ?

Are you making the necessary changes to your AIRCRAFT.CFG file each time? Without those, the add-on planes won't show.
Click on the repainting link at the bottom of this post, skip past the painting bits and read the last couple of pages.

Everyone has missed what I meant.....what about these FS add on programs....ie...Flight Sim Manager ? for like 40.00 bucks.....does it work ? will it correct the problems that I have now with aircraft that aren't working ? will it correct missing panels,sounds, etc ?

I'm not sure, possibly post this in the payware section, they might be able to give you a much better answer.
Just tryed to have a look at the flight sim manager, but the site seems to be down at the moment.
