Halellujah...I finally get to sit down for a few hours and do one of the things I enjoy the most... So to celebrate my new found freedom here's a contest to really challenge your screenart skills...Let's see what we can do with pics dedicated to the cockpit. Freeware, payware, edits, everything goes here. Post 1 shot only, as a clickable thumbnail if you can, on this thread. Remember, the pic must focus on the aircrafts pilot and cockpit. Doesn't have to be inside the cockpit, but try to create a mood showing the "pilots perspective". We'll run the contest until Nov.30th and then set the entries to a poll. Winning entry will be posted in our Gallery. Good luck and hopefully we'll see a lot of unique and interesting entries.  Smiley

before I forget... here is my go:

...

that is not exactly from the pilot perspective but that is still a pilot perspective...  Roll Eyes
think it's still in the global idea.

well, that's the realair spit, over lyon bron in France, at dusk. I used irfanview to sharpen the pic, enhanced the color, saturation and contrast, then to resize it...
my first idea was also to crop it to highlight the pilot and the action, but I'm quite happy of the result as it is.

tell me what you think about it...

Well heres mine! Its an old shot, you've probably all seen it before. The competition gives me an excuse to give this shot one last atempt at the gallery.

All right, here's my go.  I hope this complies with the rules of being from the pilot's perspective...it isn't really but neither is thebrelon's  Tongue Wink.  Anyway, here goes.  It's a F1 pilot doing his pre-flight checks before an evening flight.  Let me know how to improve! 8)
