I recently finished setting up Janet Air flights from KLAS to Area 51 (my first attempt at AI). They work just fine, but there's a small problem. Instead of using the callsign "Janet", ATC just uses "Boeing". I've already created a Janet callsign, and it works perfectly on my flyable Janet plane, but not for the AI versions. I've checked out the aircraft.cfg, and the atc_airline field is correct.

It's not a big problem, but I'd like to fix it, as it hampers the realism a bit. Any suggestions?

In your 'flightplansxxx.txt' legs, are you using 'F' or 'R'.

Quote:
F or R
‘F’ in this field specifies that if the aircraft is associated with an airline then the airline name and flight number are to be used for an ATC call sign (e.g. "Landmark 1213"). ‘R’ forces the aircraft registration (tail number) to be used as a call sign even for airlines..........

“F” here signifies the aircraft will use a flight number
“R” means it will use its registration.

Ah, I checked out my flightplans, and that was the problem. Cheers for the help!
