I am sure that this question has been asked already but after searching I still can’t find the answer. So, I apologize if it is a repeat.

I have made landing lights in Gmax and they work fine in the 2D panel and exterior views but they do not show up in the VC view. I have tried copying the landing lights from the exterior and linking them to the interior, but that doesn’t seem to work. Any advice would be appreciated.

Well, what you have said you did SHOULD work.  I can't think of a reason it wouldn't, unless you named them differently.

Locke,
Thanks for your reply.

I tried it again by cloning the landing lights from the exterior and attaching them to the interior but then the lights in the 2D view quit working also and all I get is the lights in the exterior view.
The light names are:

Interior
   LIGHT_LAND_06
   LIGHT_LAND_07
   LIGHT_LAND_08

You did copy BOTH of the lights for each set, right?  There have to be two for each.  Like this:

INTERIOR
     Light_Land_01
         Light_Land_0101
     Light_Land_02
         Light_Land_0201
     Light_Land_03
         Light_Land_0301

I wrote those as they would appear on the Gmax list, with linkages.  As you can see, Light_Land_0101 is linked to Light_Land_01.  It's in the same spot, with the Z axis rotated 90 degrees.  I'm assuming you already knew most of this, really, since you got it to work on the exterior.  But remember that you MUST do the same thing for any copies you make for the new ones.

Locke,

I tried what you said and it worked. Cheesy I had not even done that with the lights on the exterior but they still worked. Thanks for the help.
