Hi there,

I'm a complete noob to this so I'm hoping someone can help me out. I found the aircraft design adoption page (http://www.simviation.com/adoptfsc.htm) and am wondering how to open/modify these files.

I've downloaded Gmax but can't seem to find the plugins I need to use the files. I downoaded the F35 JSF file and it has a bunch of .sdl, .fsp, and .4af files included.

What are these and how do I use these.

Well, the JSF isn't for Gmax.  Its an FSDS file, and FSDS is payware.  If you do want to convert it into a Gmax file, you can go here and get the CVA converter.  It will convert FSDS stuff into Gmax files.  Unfortunately, you won't get animations or textures transferred, but it will get you started.
