Does the aircraft in question have a bombardier position?

Apparently not all light bombers had bombardier positions, that was one problem. But how do I know?

The bombsight problem was solved by: 1) be in virtual cockpit view
2) hit F7, if the plane has a bombsight the bombardier view appears
3) if no bombsight is in view hit F3 and there it is.

Thanks for all your advise. Wink

If I remember correctly the glass nose is the giveaway. If the light bomber has a nose full of machineguns and cannons it's unlikely that there's a bombardier hiding in there somewhere and so there won't be a position for him or the view in CFS. Wink

There is only VC view in CFS3....i.e. there is no 'panel' view

F7 brings up the bombardier view if there is one, try the Avhistory Molly B17's Wink

Hitting F3 just takes away the cockpit, so the cross hairs you see when you hit F3 are the gunsight crosshairs you see in front of you when the cockpit is visible, not a bombardier view as such

Hitting F3 is also a good way of cheating in dogfights, your framerate improves and you get a panoramic view of the sky ahead, no nose to get in the way......also handy for easy landings  Grin . Use F5 to get some instruments up to monitor airspeed and horizon

I'm a lazy, lazy person.........
