For once a local council is wishing to preserve an airfield, rather than give us another industrial or housing estate. Essex and Cambridgeshire councils take note!

About bl**dy time our heritage was put before money and business, nice to see it. Shame most of the UK is overrun by those who preserving our heritage (aviation just being one branch) COUGHBAESYSTEMSVULCANCOUGH is either behind making money or something to be ashamed of...

Great news, I did my first land-away landing there. It's an absolutely charming airfield with a very friendly atmosphere.

Bit of a hard approach though, there is a hump towards the end/beginning of the runway.
