Well, if you're so keen on buying one of those, I'd suggest the 744...

...there isn't too much difference between the 736/7 and te 738/9...and the 747 is newer with more eye candy (more of a bitch to fly though)...

...I still suggest a warbird or something with a tail hook Wink

MMMMMM......I would read thru the forums for PMDG "Speculation regarding FSX, FS9 etc...."...At Avsim.
If you have plans to get FSX....You may want put off buying the 737 and 747 series... For now...IMHO

Got them both, but hardly use the 737, and only ever fly the 747! The 747 is the best addon for FS in my opinion, so yeh defo get it Wink

Well, for 738/9 you need 736/7 so I assume you already have 736/7. Unless you're a giant 737 junky I would go with 744 to try something different. There isn't much difference between 738/9 and 736/7. They are both great add-ons, but expensive.

Not true, i purchased the 738/9 from my good friends at skysim and it works perfectly without the 736/7.

I would reccommend the 737, and I'm currently saving up for the 747......I was so impressed with the detail and systems. i've had it for a couple of months now, and am still learning new things everytime I fly it. The exterior has a relatively low impact on frames considering how detailed it is aswell.

.Mic (Not concerned about FSX.......will be using FS9 for years to come)

Was it a CD-ROM edition?

On PMDG web site it says:

"Please note- this product requires PMDG 737 The Next Generation to be purchased and installed"

and they charge $27.95

On skysim it is £29.99, which is about $20 more. So it better work alone or they are ripping people off.
