Hi, I remember seeing post quite a while back on how to add more stars to sky at night. I think it is added by going to the stars.dat folder in simulator. Can you please tell me where to locate? I look but don't see it. Thank you, jakob

Search for the term "realstars.zip" or something like that.  It DOES exist....... I've had it installed for years.

Yes, it's "real_stars .zip"

It simply replaces the stars.dat file and is great.

As, it is somwhat hard to find, here is an active  link:
http://fsim.net/fsim/freeDL.asp
Scroll down to the bottom.

Foz, you evil, evil wrongdoer. You made me choke on my coffee with your suggestion. I'm so grateful that I'm ready to do just what you suggested to you, to help you achieve a better night simulation, as thanks for having gifted me of yet another near-death experience. Grin Wink

I, on the other hand, will be checking this real_stars.zip myself. Smiley
