This is just to see how people think there
current
hardware will run FSX. I don't think many are going to put Brilliant (unless they're idiots...).
What do
you
think?

My current setup will run FSX well enough to wait until Vista, Direct 10 is out, plus the hardware required. This time next year I'll build a new rig.

Paul,
Thanks for the "timecheck"... that helps me with the Euro Tour Hop #18 multiplayer scheduled for later today. Comparing times, it looks like you are on GMT -1 there in the UK right now?

Sounds about right...!

I think it will be ok on my system, but not how i will like it. I'm waiting for DX10 gfx cards then upgrading to a new system with Vista and probably quad core by then.
My system:
Intel Q6600@3.6GHz, Corsair XMS2 4GB DDR2-6400 (4-4-4-12-1T) , Sapphire 7850 OC 2BG 920/5000, X-Fi Fatality, Corsair AX 750, 7 Pro x64

With a Venice core AMD64 3500+ and a XFX Nvidia 7600 GT, I wouldn't think so.
But I'll tread water with this setup and not waste money till I am able to build a capable system next year without having to sell a Kidney to afford it. I could easily upgrade my CPU right now, for instance, but what's the short-term point ?

Well with my stock built in GPU on this new computer I can run half settings at 1440X900 (My monitors size) so I imagine with a new PCI-E Card I can run medium high or high..... but as it stands now it runs it okay as I selected.... Cheers, Gunny (the half comes from running the demo)

I voted Brilliantly. Why?
It sure is running allot better than what other games coming out in the same time zone are, as well as I already knew roughly how it would perform.
If I turn down settings to match the quality of fs9, the game runs way smoother
.
I am sick of people saying you won't be abled to install any mods, I don't think this is true, the CaptianSim C-130 ran perfect in fsX

Based on how I would
want
it to look, it'll be absolutely unplayable on my system.
I'm sure it'd run great on really low settings, but what's the point if I have to settle for worse graphics than I get in FS9?
