* PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION *

-----------------------------------------

AIRCRAFT TO USE

It is advised that you use default aircraft as other flyers can see you better, and you wont be replaced by

something different within flight simulator. We always mostly fly fast GA Aircraft.

-----------------------------------------

FLIGHT SIMULATION DETAILS: HOP : 18   SUNDAY  10th  SEPTEMBER 2006.

This hop will begin at 7:00PM for departure/take off at 7:15PM  (United Kingdom) time.

Here is the Map of this Hop/flight/general including the Waypoints we will be using.

...
...

AIRCRAFT SPEED RECCOMENDATIONS

During the tours we have users which use a variety of Aircraft etc. Some of the aircraft are faster than the other

ones, so im going to provide a speed reccomendation for each hop. This way everyone will be able to stay together

without rushing. This is NOT a rule, just a reccomendation for the Simalive Flight Simulation tours,

For this hop/flight, the aircraft speed reccomendation will be:

175

WOWZERS....!
A long trip this time, nearly 300 miles....2-1/2 hours...!
Looks like I will have to re-connect again after 2 hours Dial-Up...!
Lets hope the scenery is not as FLAT as it was on the last hop...LOL...!
Getting my FS Nav Flight Plan posted to ATC....Grin...!

Paul....Beech Baron 58..... G-BPLF.... 8)....!

The poor old Beech 58 will be running flat-out for most of the journey. I'm tempted to use the Beech Queen Air piston Twin, (third party), but It probably wont show up correctly, (I cant manage the default Beechcraft King Air "turbo-prop" Twin....too flippin' complex for me!).
It's difficult to find a FAST default GA piston prop capable of a continuous 180/200+ knots...!

If I'm back in time I'll be there. Probably flying the Turbo Baron. It'll reach 220 knots so I think  that's fast enough for tonight.

Hi Crash... Grin...!

Have you had a glance at your "Fuel Flow" gauge when hurrying along at 220 knots in your trusty Turbo-Baron 58..... Shocked....?

...it frightens me....Shocked...!

...not to mention my "Cylinder Head" and "Exhaust Temperature" gauges....Cry....!

Tee-Hee...!

Paul... fiddlin' with his Throttle, Mixture, and Prop Controls in a desperate effort to save the engines, and survive the trip...Grin...!
LOL...!

Hi guys.

I might join you for this one...... depending on how "life" goes today.  (Somehow "life" always seems to get in the way of simming  Wink. )

I am assuming that is 1900 GMT for the start ....which is my 3 PM here in New Hampshire, USA?  Oh..... I'll be on Teamspeak too.

If I am able to join in, I'll also be flying the Turbo Baron.... located here at SimV.....first listing at top of page:

best,

.......john

It wont take as long as you think Chaps. The flight planner summery was based upon a Cessna 172 doing the flight, so if we do the flight in something faster, we are bound to be done in just under half of the time.
