n_richardson,
In general, if you look around you can find a prebuilt CH Products USB Yoke and the CH Products USB Pro Pedals for about $120 each, new. I think their USB Throttle Quadrant is about $160, new. EBay might get it to you a bit cheaper.... not sure.
When you get into control panels with switches and an interface to get the info in Flight Sim....... a lot depends on how much you want to accomplish. A single GoFlight COM or NAV radio panel (easiest pre-built solution) will cost you about $130.
One of the simplest approaches to construction panels is to get a Hagstrom KE-72 interface card and then hook your own homebuilt panels (with switches) up to that. The card is something like $130, if I remember correctly. It'll take up to 72 discrete inputs. You then assign them to whatever keystrokes you want in the FS assignment menu. Adding the necessary switches is your part of the panel project.... and switches can cost from about $1 each up to about $4 each....depending on type and source. If you want to use real "aircraft" switches....expect to pay a
LOT more than that...... even used.
See the "Cockpit Resources" sticky postings at the top of this Forum for some possible sources and typical prices.
The planning part is about 50 percent of the sucessful completion of the project
