im using windows live messanger (the newest one with vista style layout)

the problem is... my contacts are reporting that my status is offline

ive tried the following but to no avail:

signing out then in

turning off the pc then restarting

changing my status to busy/other status then reseting it to online

re-installing MLmessanger

turning off my router and fully rebooting my PC

not going on msn for 30mins (as recommended by windows)

I am currently contacting windows and more specifically, the Windows Live support team
I shall write the responce down here too so that others may benefit from the vast knowledge of the peeps at microsoft hehe

can someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease help me, thanks in advance

Indeed it's not a beta version anymore.

But I can say that yes, more problems happen with WLM than with the 7.5 version. I usually use the "repair" function included in WLM and it starts working again Tongue...... doesn't alway work tho Roll Eyes.

When you can't connect a window pops up and asks if you wanna repair/fix it.
