Fozzer, I'll give you a free demo of any of the Flying Club aircraft. We're at Duxford next month can you make it across Grin

(It is a lovely package - one of the best GA sets you can spend your cash on - in my humble opinion).

As soon as you start fiddling with the computer clock it's clever enough to notice and wont work. Once the time limit has run out and its in the sim, it appears as a flying red circle with a line through it.....pretty cool!

Hi "Highgate".... Wink... Grin...!
Tee-Hee...!

I often deal with Just Flight, and the program is in my local Game Shop.
It looks an excellent little trainer program centred around Shoreham Airfield....I'm tempted...
The only thing that spoils it is the naff surrounding English countryside scenery, which is why I avoid Bill's rendering of our bit of the planet... Cry...!
LOL... Grin...!

Cheers, Mate...!

Paul....Sunny California with my free Carenado CC-KAA, and CC-KDF, C152's....8)...!

P.S. ...too many ducks fording, at Duxford... Grin...!

You could always buy the UK Photographic scenery...I got every bit apart from the north for £20

Or Download Carenado's C152 which is an amazing model but has a terrible VC
http://www.carenado.com/html/freeairplanes.php3

Only 2.5 megs

I've got the complete set of VFR Photographic Scenery* at full price when it was first released by Just Flight years ago.

Lots of discussions over it in the Forum here.

Everyone was disappointed with it.

1) Terrible frame rates.
2) Fuzzy effects.
3) Fine from 2,000+ feet AGL, but hopeless at ground level.

Remember it's just a flat photograph laid over the scenery mesh, so there are no 3D objects at ground level..!!

The default Autogen scenery with it's 3D objects is preferable, if only Uncle Bill had spent more time getting the British scenery more accurate..!

Take a look at San Francisco and Los Angeles...Wink...!

Paul...Grin...!

* Fine for it's novelty value at high altitude only...Wink...!

I got it for either £20 or £25 last christmas and the c152 a brilliant model almost everything (except 1 or 2 things) are in their correct places, frame rate friendly, nice model and a lovely panel with a good view over it. (if you want ill post some screenies, of the 152 and other planes)
The piper seneca is quite good for the multiplayer hops although sometimes it can be a bit slow (and you'll say you wouldn't use it because its non standard.)
Never really flew the piper tomahawk or warrior.

Can be bought online from: http://www.game.co.uk/ViewProduct.aspx?cat=11338&mid=325575

£5 for each plane with free scenery is a good deal although the shoreham scenery kills fps its detailed and has some cool parts to it. (cars parked near the control car, static planes, a train that moves along train tracks near the runway and others)

Definately worth the £20
Wink
