The Daily Hotshot always features great shots, whether they are (edited) screenshots or photo's.
Fantastic angles, surreal lighting, nice perspective or just a stunning combination of those ingredients.

However ... Steve's shot taken from his "Elvington - Geese" post below does not have any of this ...

But try to imagine the beauty and peace you must feel when you were to be flying with these geese.

I can't find the words to describe what I see in this photo but it sure does move me ...

there was a movie about something like this. it was called "fly away home", and was based on a true story about a guy and some geese.

and it turns out wikipedia has some info on him. bill lishman was his name.

Yes, I think I've seen that on Discovery ... very impressive. If I recall correctly, it was about him flying the complete route from the Nordics to Africa in this ultralight.
