Nice. Is there an install guide anywhere?

Thanks to NickN for dropping a big hint on this one. Remember, this is only for fun. I doubt this is how the carriers will work in the real sim. The AI boats work a bit like AI planes. We can't get into the bgl file yet (at least I can't) but what we can do is just swap one boat for another.

Look in the folder ..Demo\SimObjects\boats

There you'll see all of the demo boat traffic. Choose one of the ones you've seen zipping around eg the 25 foot power boat and COPY the original folder to a backup folder (otherwise you''ll lose the original boat for good)

Now delete the contents of the powerboat folder (model and texture folders and the file sim.cfg) and replace them with the model and texture folders from the carrier folder and the carrier's sim.cfg.

Last job, just like a FS2004 AI plane, is to change the name back so the sim thinks this is the powerboat.

Open up the sim.cfg file you've just copied over and change the 2nd line from

title=veh_carrier01_high_detail_sm

to

title=PBoat_25ft_Bluehull_sm

That's all!
