Anyone else notice that new animated road traffic is scurrying about just a little too fast? It looks a bit cartoonish, like a big slot car track.

Hopefully it wiil be slowed down considerably in the final.

Otherwise we will need someone to mod some traffic cops to slow down the speeders! Wink

Home airports are KMGJ and KSWF in Orange County, NY&&Stop by and say hello. Smiley

Well if that's on a motorway/freeway then that's about right. Remember, the traffic isn't going to be driving down every single road in the game, it's going to be along large, busy roads.

and they dont slow down for corners, which theyseem to do in 90 degree turns not following the road.

It's flight simulator, not cars-driving-down-the-road-and-following-all-the-traffic-rules simulator. Grin Wink

Why not simply edit the sim.cfg file for the traffic?

[fltsim.0]
title=Automobile
model=
texture=

<snipped for brevity>

[DesignSpecs]
max_speed_mph = 115
acceleration_constants = 0.3, 0.4     //Time constant (effects responsiveness), and max G acceleration
deceleration_constants = 0.2, 0.4     //Time constant (effects responsiveness), and max G acceleration

With people like me and Mitsuya Hamaguchi, that would soon be possible for FSX. Wink Grin
