Creating abstract screenart can be a great exercise in helping to upgrade and enhance perpectives and angles in our day to day screenshot taking. The object in this workshop is to first select any vintage aircraft you prefer, then use a traditional object  such as a runway, a building, or as you see in this example a city, to create a shot that has totally unique angles and/or perspectives. Try to "blend" the aircraft and the scenery to-gether so that neither one is prominant, but to-gether they make the abstract image, an image that most people viewing the shot would have to take a second long look at to determine what they're looking at.
...

Here's another example..
...

The aircraft and scenery should blend together in a way that the object used as a backdrop in itself is unimportant or even unidentifiable to the viewer, but together with the aircraft create a dramatic and unique texture or mood. If you're game, post your effort(s) in this thread... (preferably as a clickable thumbnail..see tutorial library on how-to) and show some abstract screenart creativity. How about if we poll all submitted art and top pic could go into the Gallery....Clip  Smiley

It's a very interesting and artistic idea Clip, and I'll try to produce something....

...people might be distracted right now by the demo, though, I know I am... I wonder if I'll be able to get it out of the server tonight..... Smiley

I'm surprised (FSX aside) that no-one's given this workshop a try. Not giving up though....abstracts can be fun to produce, try it....you'll like it... Wink

I have a pic that is very abstract in both the background and the plane.....but does a Tornado Gr4 count as Vintage?? It's kinda old.

Sure Mic, no probs with the Tornado. The "abstracts" part of this workshop is really what's important. Let's see what you came up with!  Smiley
