Hey everyone,

This is a shot that I took this morning when I was testing the aircraft. I thought that I would post it to see what you all think. I think it would be better if it was taken a little closer to the aircraft, but I'm no expert. I have not taken very many screenshots so I am just learning. Tongue

That is pretty good for a first effort, Jon. Strange little aircraft isn't she?

But I think you should post these shots in the 'freeware' section instead of here ...

You also can compress the image a little less as you still have nearly 70 kb left Wink

Hi John, i'm assuming it's John? Welcome to our Studio V  and of course to Simviation.  Smiley  I'm glad you chose our Studio for having your new screenshot evaluated and  i'm sure you'll get plenty of knowlegeable replies.

I think your shot shows definate promise...the treeline, the interesting aircraft you chose. There are so many different styles in creating a screenshot, it's difficult to pinpoint exactly what advice to give sometimes. In this pic, perhaps a bit brighter would really highlight the colors more. As well, it's important to make sure your graphics card and FS9 graphics settings are adjusted to get the best possible imaging for your computer. If you look in the Studio V tutorial Library (at the top of this forum) you'll find many excellent tutorials on graphics settings, including a very important one on anti-aliasing called "LVA157's Anti-Aliasing".... a good place to start off your graphics tweeking. So hopefully our Studio will help you get to where you want to be in the fine art of screenshot taking...Clipper  Smiley

Harold, I think if someone is looking for specific advice on how to improve their screenshots and needs evaluation, this is the right place to be. Studio V's main focus is to help everyone acheive their screenshot goals.  Smiley

Lovely first screenie Jon. And I would agree with your opinion about zooming in. Very nice that you used the rain to convey the approach. A subtlely coloured sky is the only thing I would have added to this shot for now.
