Well for starters which package did you install you have to use packages that will have flights were you normally fly. Example you will not see a lot of flights for AIR france at KJAC (JACKSON HOLE WYOMING) In the US I would suggest you use carriers like Delta Southwest Contennental NorthWest and American These airlines normally fly all over the USA and you will see more of them than you would flights for Air France as they will be at the major airports only and not the smaller ones. ALso make sure you traffic slider is turned up enough to create traffic. AIrlines like Air France do not fly alot of flights in the US so if you turned your traffic down you might not see any of those flights at all. 8)

IMO, the #1 problem with AI NOT showing is insufficient parking spot
size
. Open the airport in AF2 and using the Tools/Aircraft Editor, check the requisite parking spot
sizes
for the aircraft in question. Works every time for me.

P.S. Do not confuse meters and feet when comparing the requisite parking spot
size
with the aircraft size requirements.

If you are lacking parking space at a airport than AI will just dissapear as they have no place to park. But you would still see the AI near the airport for a while. I uderstood you to say you were not seeing any AI at all and a lack of parking spaces will not stop a flight from leavimg a airport it just will not be able to land at its destination. But you should still have traffic. Lack of traffic alltogether is caused by either not enough AI traffic in the area where you are at or you have turned down the traffic slider, Or there is no flights in the area at the time you are there the more AI traffic you have the better the chances of you seeing them. I am currently using DELTA LUTHANSA UNITED SOUTHWEST CONTINENTAL AMERICAN AIRLINES plus the default AI and I still will not see AI in some places given the time of day. 8)
