AIRCRAFT TO USE

It is advised that you use default aircraft as other flyers can see you better, and you wont be replaced by

something different within flight simulator. We always mostly fly fast GA Aircraft.

FLIGHT SIMULATION DETAILS: HOP :    SUNDAY  6th  AUGUST 2006.


This hop will begin at 7:00PM for departure/take off at 7:15PM  (United Kingdom) time.


We will be departing: Saint Pons  in: France  on hop(s) to : Birrfeld in: Switzerland

AIRCRAFT SPEED RECCOMENDATIONS

During the tours we have users which use a variety of Aircraft etc. Some of the aircraft are faster than the other

ones, so im going to provide a speed reccomendation for each hop. This way everyone will be able to stay together

without rushing. This is NOT a rule, just a reccomendation for the Simalive Flight Simulation tours,

I think that may blow both the engines on my trusty Beech Baron... Shocked...!

I don't think I've got another GA piston prop which is faster than that in my Hangar... Cry...!

Never mind, must remember to leave the engine cowls fully open.....Wink...
....need lots of cooling air...

No problem, Jimbo. Just finished modifying the Mooney so it'll be as fast if not faster than Paul's Baron. Will make this hop in no time. Let's hope we will have a great time crossing the Alps tonight.

Way-up, Lads... Shocked...!

I've just done a practice run out of LFMR at RWY 9, and I'll tell you what...
You are going to have to go flat-out, full power, and climb as fast as you can to clear the mountains direct ahead.... Shocked...!
We are already at 3,700 ft ASL, and I had to climb to over 10.000 feet VERY QUICKLY to clear them...Shocked...!
...or else it means a detour up one of the valleys to gain height... Wink...!

Watch out for the dreaded STALL warning...!!

..best of flippin' luck... Wink...!
