nice, but you could have done pretty much the same thing in real time with the recorder.  also, it looks as though the blackbird is going to hit the tanker Wink

nah, in order for the slow 135 to refuel the SR-71 the Blackbird has to nose up to keep at altitude... every picture you will find the 71 nosed up... i almost guarantee... but i could be wrong just so you know... but thanks... and for the recorder it would change to the same aircrafts...though i have seen one 135 refueling another  Grin

in order to have the traffic in the diffrent planes, you have to load the recording the the plane that was recorded, then switch to the other plane.

I've been trying that for a couple of days with Greg Olsen's F-16 and a KC-135 (from HJG I think) now and it's not that easy ...

You'd have to record the Falcon and then position the tanker above it ... else the boom does not retract Embarrassed

Does anyone have a solution or alternative for that?

No alternative yet... unless the new 1.3 records tailhook settings, of which I am not sure.

It's a great shot and almost how uncanny how it matches the photo!

What isn't easy? It didn't occur to me at first, but then it hit me (maybe you already do it too, if so please ignore me - just trying to help Wink)
- record the plane you want to form up with in Slew mode...it will remain in the same place for however long  you record it, and I think you can loop the recording too. Then just start the recording as ai, change to the tanker and move it into position.
