Go find the Scenery SDK from Microsoft.

It has a compiler in it for converting XML scenery stuff into usable BGLs for FS.

The easiet program I have found and I use all the time is Arno's Obplacer program.

Follow the instruction but all you have to do is slew to the place you want you object, switch to the obplacer program and place the object, easy!
