A little G tolerance training goes a long way.  What gets me is that each pilot in the Blue Angels has to get a medical waiver to fly the F-18 without G pants.  Now those are real men !!

True, true... it's all about acclimatization. If you're fit and you know how to deal with it, you get used to it. The huuman body is remarkably adaptable...

I noticed this guy did not use the "hook" grunt technique, even though the pilot reminded him. I guess your first 7-g turn takes you by surprise... I remember feeling a bit funny the first time I pulled a mere 3 gs, at the bottom of  a loop- it's a strange sensation, and very unpleasant the first time.

I remember going up in a Super Deke a few years ago and we pulled about 4.5 g's. Almost passed out then.. dunno what 7 g's would do to me. Shocked
