It sounds like one of those crappy ad things, that install itself on your computer, saying that its a virus, and tells you to buy a certain programme to remove it. The pop-up itself isn't a virus, but is a annoyance. Im surprised its not found my spyware doctor. Updating is all I can really suggest, and then try again. There are people on here far more edcted on things like this here so one of them will tell you more specific things.

Cheers,
Alex

www.webroot.com

Go grab spysweeper. Will fix any Spy / Mal / Ad Ware problems you are having. And for only $30 a year, its a great investment.

Cheers

If you don´t want payware try this "Spybot S&D".
You can find it by searching in Google.

Sounds like you're infected with SpywareQuake ...
I've had that bugger too and did this to check for a remedy.

Please let me know if this helps Wink
