Turbine fan animation question (Read 128 times)

Can someone tell me if you use stoke animation or key frame animation on turbine fans. I'm thinking stoke (prop still, prop slow) but not sure. Any advice would be helpful.  Thanks guys

Any engine spin is always the stock animations:

prop#_still
prop#_slow
prop#_blurred
