I'd like to use the Lear45 panel for my MD-83 and it works ok except I want to modify the flaps settings shown to reflect the flaps on the MD-83 instead of the ones standard for the lear45

Does anybody know how to do this ?

Found a couple of actual MD-83 panels (from FS2000, but should work fine in ACOF or 2k2):

As for changing the flaps for the panel, you would have to find a gauge that matches what you're looking for, then replace the entry in the panel.cfg that corresponds to the current gauge with the one you're wanting to be there.  Kinda complicated, so I would suggest getting a different panel.  Just put in "MD-83" on whatever site you prefer and it will spit out a whole list of stuff to look through.  There should be some better panels than the Lear's for the Maddog.

Why use panels for FS2002 ther are some grest panels for FS2004 at www.avsim.com I currently use one I downloaded some time ago but it looks and works great sorry I can not rember the name of the file I downloaded.
If you really want to use the lear panel I think you will also have to alter the aircraft cfg file to reflect the changes that you made in the gauge  8)
