that's pretty good!!!
despite the sky is really nice, that's one area you can work on to make your shot more moody. it look like the sun was high in the sky when you take that shot, hence flatening it.

I know the F-14 takes off from carrier without afterburner but it would bring some life to your shot...

I don't know what else...

Very crisp aircraft images. A couple of things I might suggest, the bottom third of the pic is almost completely black. I'm not sure if you were trying to acheive a heavy contrast here, but I find with no detailing in that area it creates a slpit in the visual. Kind of like when you take a scenery photograph with a camera...you try not to have the horizon cut your pic in half, or even show as a distinct line cutting through the pic. I would lighten the bottom third a bit to show more detailing. Your sky is superb, the color, the realism..first class. There's a lot going on in the pic, but it could use a little help in the dramatics element. I've always found the farther from the aircraft (or main focal point of the pic) you shoot from, the more difficult it seems to create intense drama.  Maybe if you zoomed in a touch...Overall a wonderful shot.  Smiley

Exellent! I really love the F-14s and the sky.

My main suggestion is try and make the carrier not so black, if you can't maybe put the sunset in the background?

I'd like to see how this works out.
