Hello Chaps,
As many of you know, i have two tours running. The European Tour and the Rockies tour. The rockies tour only has a few a few more hops left in it, so i need to decide where we should go next. Ive selected two tours which i think would be brilliant, but i need your opinion. The two tours are;
California Tour
Australia tour
I would personally like to do a Australia tour, and do the California tour after because i would also love to do that one, but i would like YOUR opinions on which tour should be next.
Once the Rockies tour has completed, we are not going to start the new tour immediately. I feel that the warm weather at this time of year is preventing people from joining in on the tours, probally because of the heat, and other arrangements they may have. So the new tour; California or Australia tour, will start at the begining of September (3rd September). I feel this will be better, because the warm weather will have cooled down a bit, and more people will be able to join. And it will also give people a small break from flying in the tours, and to allow others to set-up their own tours.
When the new tour starts, I wont be using Simalive anymore, but the new name "Jimbo's tours". Seems better i think.
I hope you like the decisions i have made, and remember the European tour is still on!
Many thanks chaps, and please make any suggestions.
James

Haven't been able to join in the recent tours, way too much schoolwork. However, I think the Australia would be really good, especially now with VOZ, could be some amazing scenery to see

Now, I don't really fly on your tours often at all, Jimbo, but I certainly do admire the way that you're signle-handedly organising tours around continents/countries etc.....nice job!
As for a tour suggestion, an Aus tour would be good, I'd probabloy try to fly that one with you guys
....plus, how about an "Eastern Block" tour or something similar?

Cheers Spyro.
I like planning tours, it gives me the chance to visit places i like, and let other flyers join me. Its great fun. I'm sure that my regular flyers can agree
The one thing i like about my tours are that everyone moves in their own pace, i do set speed reccomendations, but everyone is welcome to fly at their own pace. The hops are nice and short, usually only around 1 1/2 hours long, and thats including breaks. I know i dont get as many people as your very successful airshow, but i really do appreciate the few regulars which fly along. When flying in one of my tours there is a great sense of laid back atmosphere and comftability which makes flying the tours a nice experience.
I really do reccomend you join in Spyro, and to anyone else that is interested.
Cheers,
James

Whatever happened to that site that use to host the round-the-country trips like the UK?

James, as one of your regular flyers I leave it up to you. Australia and California are both great regions to fly. I'm off to see what this VOZ thing is in preperation to the tour and try to find some scenery for California.

Yes we did used to have a website to plan all of our hops, but all the hops are now planned in the SimV forum multiplayer section because it is easier.
Cheers.

Like Paul said aswell, there is no reason to "leave it up to me". All of my regular flyers are more than welcome to make suggestions and improvements, or even help out with flight planning. Without you guys there would be no tours.

I'd love to do an Australian tour because you could use voz :
http://vistaoz.org/
But if we do the california tour first then voz will be even better for whenever we get round to the australian tour.
