Hey,

Does anyone know of any fast paced aggressive rock, a la The Offspring? I've run out of good bands.

I'm sorry. You seem to have associated the Offspring with good bands. Tongue

Well, for starters, there's always Black Sabbath, either early, sans-Ozzy, or just plain ol' Ozzy.  There's also got to be tons of stuff since then, unfortunately (hmm, or maybe fortunately), I stopped listening to most other fast-paced aggressive rock right after I met Ozzy himself (Yes, I speak the truth) in mid-summer 1975.  I used to think it was a coincidence that all other aggressive rock no longer interested me after that encounter, but it may have been an Oz-Spook thing.

OK, a little humor there.   But he really was cool.

I think others here might have more up-to-date insight than lil ol moi, I'm really a late-60's rocker, so watch this thread for more coherent answers.

Cheers!

Black Sabbath is a pretty old band, personally I don't like it alot, I prefer guys like Static-X Tongue (rather metal than hard rock). I know other bands that play "fast paced aggressive rock" but I don't have their names in mind Tongue.

Offspring isn't really that aggressive but if you want a similar style to them then try a band called "Hash" it's similar hard rock style with a bit of funk thrown in.

Fast, agressive?  I'm not listening to anything without gratuitous amounts of blast-beats.  The Offspring don't qualify, by a long shot!

I can't listen to Slayer music more than ten minutes..... just too hard for meh Tongue. And the lyrics are...... hard too Grin. And yeah, I'd say that's metal too.
