Smiley Smiley

well, there i go again...

i finally figured a way to export from 3DS MAX 8 to FS, so i found myself very enthusiastic to make something with it...

but this time, i decided to make something of my own device, so this is what i came up with:

i call it "The Afterworldern Scrounger"  Grin

there's a whole background story to it, which involves a rather ambitious PC game project of mine, but i'll leave that for later....

Roll Eyes

plane:

i wanted it to look like it was made out of junk...

...

i always tend to go a little overboard on the details... Tongue

...

there's no pilot yet... he'll be there soon

...

textures were made using photoshop, some taken from photographs, such as this tire...

...

...

and of course, like any moach-made plane, there's a VC, which i havent yet painted...

...

and yes, that is a gunsight on top of the panel, i think i'll leave it as if it were turned off, since there's nothing to shoot in FS...  yet...

oh well, that's that

more on this later...

seeya...

Zeeeeeeow!  That is something different, all right!  I really like the "junked-up" look to it.  And I especially appreciate the VC.  Looks like a real time consumer, as there are multiple parts in there that must have taken a bit of fiddling with to make correctly.

Congratulations, and well done! Grin

Looks like a cross between the Bf-109, IL-2 and an old racer. Grin

I would suggest rigging some bomb loads as that plane looks more like a attacker rather than a fighter.

It looks like a Boeing Monomail only with a closed cockpit

Nice work!

Nice, great, well details, but why the shot seems like its being taken from a frame Divx format movie....did you recorded then took the shots from a movie?? Shocked

EDIT: Now I get it ,I didn't saw you made it from 3d Max 8-youn render it then make an animation ,then you took those shots!very cleaver,Never use *.avi use mpeg2 with big frames ,..youll get a better quality & brighness
