i was wondering if say you had 2 comps hooked up though a lan or a dual screen monitor, and your were flying a plane such as a military c-130 or other 2+ person aircraft so that on one screen you could have the pilot and on the other have a navigator who would have control of autopilot, radar, etc.

seems so cool but could be very complicated thanks

I do believe that WideFS, which relies heavily on Pete Dowson's FSUIPC module and comes as part of the same package, makes this very thing possible.  You might try reading up on this, as it seems very possible to do it.

Wow it's gotta be awesome! Cheesy. I thought about this a couple time but I never thought to give it a closer look.... Don't forget to post if you find anything conclusive Smiley.

I believe you can accomplish this with FSCopilot.

High Flight Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long delirious, burning blue, I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew - And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod The high untresspassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand and touched the face of God.&&

Actually, sorry to say that I was wrong.  Went and looked up WideFS and it seems to be simply for running external programs on a LAN, so that you can have multiple PCs running what amounts to their own version of FS.  This would allow you to run all those peripheral programs required for a simpit, without the nuisance of trying to run multiple copies of FS.

There has to be a way to do this.  I'm almost sure I've heard of it being done before.
