To get rid of some posts how about deleting a bunch of threads out of the multiplayer section. The threads in the back are from 2003.

we, rather, the admin, are formulating a situation to switching to another forum system, most likely PHP. YaBB served us well, but it is causing more problems as the forum grows.

not to mention i suggested an alternative to switching forum systems. not met with much support, but it is a backup plan.

I hope the forum is switched over soon. There are times where this forum would lagg so much that merely updating one's own profile would cause some sort technical difficulty. For example, I have just tried to update my sig with a new image, but when I hit "change profile" the site takes nearly 15 minutes before it keeps refering me to an error page and the sig is never updated even after 20 tries with either EI or FF.

I'm guessing that this problem may have something to do with the fact that this forum is so jammed packed with posts that some of us can go back and see our first actual posts. Grin
