Im writing a book about swedish volunteers in WW2 as a school project.
And during a history class we were watching a documentary about the Waffen-SS and I was sitting just drawing for my self (I had already seen the movie).
And then my teacher was walking past me and told me that I should consider doing some illustrations my self for the book im writing. He told me it could boost my grade in art (Its the same teacher in history and art)
So here is the doodle I did that has had some colors added to it in Photoshop. Any great artist out there that could give me some tips and critisism?

1.618 is the 'golden ratio' used in art. It is used to calculate perfect proportions.
I think....lol
