First off, what is this "Silver Dart" you speak of? ???  Never actually heard of it, per se.  Perhaps you could provide a link to a picture?

I love these old pioneer aircraft, I'm taking a break from building my Farman Biplane to make a quick 14 bis  Grin

I also had a good hunt but couldn't find any drawings.  However I did find Easy Built Models who make a 1/24 scale Silver Dart:

http://www.easybuiltmodels.com/d09.htm

It's $18.20, not sure if you want to go that far.

We really must have a SimV pioneer fly-in one day!  We already have an Antoinette, Bleriot, Demoiselle, several Curtiss designs and even a Voisin Hydroplane.

You could base your model on a Curtiss June Bug, with which the Silver Dart shared the basic design (I believe that the Dart was a development of the June  Bug design, anyway), and "correct" based on the slight differences from the available photos.

Thanks for your help guys.  A big thanks to gryshnak for sending me that link for the model.  The company who makes the model are being very gracious in sending us a free model kit to assist with building.

Thanks again for you help.
