Well guys, Im at it again Grin  This time its the PrivatAir scheme, and its done (looking mighty fine too) except for one insywinsy problem.  On the RIGHT ENGINE there is a problem.  On the real PrivatAir scheme, the engines have a small PrivatAir logo on the outfacing side, but not on the infacing side.  On my texture, on the bitmap, I have the logo on one side on both the left and right engine.  ON the left engine the logo shows up properly, only on the outfacing side.  BUT on the RIGHT engine, the bitmap is right, but on the plane the logo shows up on both sides.  Any ideas?  I can show you pics, but I dont know how much they would really show better than my description

Is there only one side for the right engine or are there two sides to paint? If there are two sides just simpy switch the logo to the other side. It might just be that you were painting it on the wrong side by accident. If this doesn't help can you post a pic of the bitmap in the paint program.

Hope it helps,
Andrew

This problem is common enough with models which don't have all engine sides assigned to their own place in the kit. The best solution is find another model which supports individual (multiple?) engine sides.

Another option is to design a balanced logo (without text).

The texture has 2 sides.  Its not a text issue, just an accuracy issue

The problem appears to be a texture mapping issue on the model itself: the left engine maps both sides of the texture normally, but the right engine appears to use just one engine face of the texture for both sides. I had the same issue with an EasyJet repaint I did that has the name on the outfacing side. Normal on the left engine but both sides on the right engine - and the inward face displayed backwards.

Bit of a design boo-boo, methinks.
