Indeed project AI has a lot of airline packages, just rember to down load the installer.
The best way to do this is to make a folder for the AI packages then put the installer inside the same folder THIS IS A MUST OR IT WILL NOT WORK
Once you have all the packages you want just run the installer and it will make the needed AI files for you.
I am currently using the Delta Luthansa and Air France packages. 8)

Im using a Project Ai and World of AI mix... World of AI installs faster and has more airlines at the given airport ( and you can see which airports are being services), but Project AI has more AI packages.

I use which includes all the world's airlines (with viewable or printable, realworld schedules), PalmSpotter and a TCAS all for $29.

PAI planes and traffic can still used.

I would suggest removing the default commercial AI traffic if you install lots of airlines or you will run out of parking at most of the airports that you add AI to. PAI has a remover that will take out the default commercial AI and leave the generall aviation and vintage aviation installed. With PAI , it's alot of work to replace all that traffic but it's well worth it!
PS: PAI planes are more fps friendly than default aircraft. Wink

"if you install lots of airlines or you will run out of parking at most of the airports that you add AI to"

Not with Ultimate Traffic . . .
it comes with hundreds of enhanced AFCAD2 files for FS9

...

I have no vested interest in F1's Ultimate Traffic but have observed that for $29 bucks it sure solves a lot of the issues regarding FS9 AI_traffic

I have Ultimate traffic and have to agree. Saves so much hassel, and it far better than Project AI, so OK, some of the models are pretty bad, and the textures arn't MipMapped. But the volume of traffic you get at a big airport is amazing. And it only takes one install!

i have a pakage like that it comes with several north american ac. but the ai in those aircraft fly really bad but watching them land can be comical. some land half way down the runway, others land so hard they crash (disapear). some land way to early like 1000 ft before or even after the runway it can be crazy but the added trafic can be fun.  and its funny to see them stall out of there glide slope and slam into the runway Grin. but this is just one pakage i canot speek for the rest.

big or small i like them all ...? that dosent sound right&&slew mode dose not count as flying&&737-700aholic

Thanks for the screeshot but when i open the file it shows that Install FS2004 default commerical is a PAI file. And when I try to open it, it ask me to "Use the web service to find the appropriate  program" or "Select the program from a list". In this case what should I do ???

..........Download THIS package and at least one airline......

Here's what I would do........UNZIP the installer zip file to your desktop..........it should create a folder with the Installer and TTools and a few other files in it..........you can then put the whole folder into your main FS9 folder ..............

Unzip the Airline you have downloaded to the desktop .

Then click on the installer.exe icon to open it and browse to the airline file on your desktop and select it and click open...........the installer will then use TTools to do it's stuff...............

Hope this is clear enough sombody else might do it different.....it's just how I do...........you can then save the Airline file you used or just delete it..........I delete mine................commoner.

...Your airlines will only show at the airports they are scheduled to fly to or from in the PAI flightplans and only ALL will show if you have your AI setting at 100%  They don't just appear wherever you happen to be............they could disappear on landing for various reasons........maybe the airport hasn't enough parking gates. etc..........at my home airport they land and taxi to parking as they should but at others I have seen them just vanish.

Look for American Airlines at airfields in the USA for example where you would expect to see them.

If you are flying under ATC control then say, ask for permission to land or take off, then ATC will control the AI accordingly.......make you wait or make the AI aircraft wait etc. If you just blunder about (as one does at times) then expect a 747 to ignore you at any time with predictable result. FS9 ATC controls the ai aircraft automatically.

With a full knowledge of how TTools works and how traffic .bgl files are compiled it is then a fairly simple task to make the AI airlines of your choice land or take off from whichever airport at whatever times YOU decide...........

But as I said you need to understand how to decompile, change and recompile the Traffic and PAI bgl files.

Hope this helps.....commoner Wink

Click on the options menu at the top and go to traffic there you will see the slider. You can also see a entry for the amount of AI in your FS9 cfg file If you do not know where to find your FS9 cfg file read the sticky note at the top of the fs9 century of flight forum.

Im still working on the replacement of the PAI-models with EvolveAI or AIA-models. They look much better and the improvement on the FPS is remarkable.

So yes to PAI, but replace their models if there are some others.
