Welcome to the world of marketing, or better described as how to leach the most money out of a customer Wink

Maybe you can contact them and they will give you a discount on the base package?

That is just how we talk.  why do you say "the tube" insted of "the subway"?  or "the lift" insted of "the elevator"?

ah, but the tube only applies in london...because it's shaped like a tube  Wink

we call it a lift because it lifts you Grin

Actually we tell why.
http://www.captainsim.com/products/c130/models/ac.html

The AC-130 'Spectre' Model is a separate product and can be installed to default MS FS2004 without any other C-130 product pre-installed. The C-130 Base Package is highly recommended but not required. *

This directs you to the bottom of the page.

* The Expansion Model uses 2D panels, VC and systems programming of the 'Legendary C-130' Base Package. If the C-130 Base Package is not pre-installed, some features and functionality limitations apply. See the AC-130 Model FREE Manual for details.

And the Manual is here http://www.captainsim.net/products/c130/ac130_model_manual.zip

Best regards,&&Captain Sim Team&&&&...
