I am trying to set a elevator control rod to move when the elevator moves up and down. Do I use Keyframe or stoke animation to set it to move in the right direction when the elevator moves? I hope I got the names of these parts right, if not I'm sorry and I have incerted a picture to help figur out what I'm talking about.
Thanks guys

In this case, you're better off using key frame animations for both the control rod and elevator itself.
you can use:
lever_stick_fore_aft ; frames 0-100 control movement of control stick forwards and backwards (Translation - this works the elevators).

Thanks Felix, I'll give that a try. I remembered how to post a screenshot so if you could take a look at it and see if that is what I need to do.
Thanks

Right - Although you can get away with the stock elevator tags for the elevator itself, *in this case* I would still recommend going with the keyframe tags because as you position the controls *cables* you see the elevator moving and you can position the cable animations correctly.
