Hello Chaps,

NEED Help, Please....

I have opended ALL of my relative ports for Multiplayer etc, AND i have made sure that My firewall (Zone alarm) is properly configured, but i keep getting crash to desktops. The sim Just closes down in an instant... then i have to re-connect, and a few mins later, it will do the exact SAME.

ANY HELP!!... PLEASE!!  Cry Wink

Cheers Cry

It doesn´t look like the usual port problem because you could fully join the session before you were disconnected.
Did you ever successfully connect (longer than a minute)with Zone Alarm in the past ?
However.. you would first take a look at Zone Alarm. Please make some tests with and without zone alarm (turn it off completely!!). Make these
tests when other users are connected as well.. this makes
a difference because of the peer to peer network FS uses.

If you´re computer isn´t full of backdoors you should not worry about your safety... Smiley
you´re behind a router anyway.

I don´t know Zone Alarm.. so maybe someone else
can share his experience/configuration. It looks like some other people have similar problems, too.

Also make shure you have the latest version of Zone Alarm installed.. I just got the info in a german forum that Version 5 has some problems with DirectX9 connections.

Hi lads,

I'm using ZoneAlarm version:6.5.722.000, the free version. I have no problems what so ever with connecting to any kind of server. The firewall is set with both sliders on HIGH. Unselect all options but the last in ADVANCED.

Maybe you already have these settings the same as me.
