Hey all,
After the BBMF display at the airshow, quite a few of you wanted to start up a VBBMF (Virtual Battle of Britain Memorial Flight).

I said I'd put up a post about it - here it is Grin

If you want to be part, say so, any suggestions etc on how to get this rolling?

(NOTE: this is unofficial, and if it's already been done, I suppose you might call this the SimV VBBMF Cheesy)

Why don't we Nemo? Those lads seemed to love your addition, and whoever winds up running the VBBMF probably wouldn't mind Wink Cheesy

So it's new, total name is....

SimVVBBMF+Vulcan

Shocked Grin

would love to take part.

instead of making it a VBBMF, why not an RAF historical flight?? then you can use all of the RAF oldest and greatest, but have a small detachment that are the BBMF. then everyone is happy Cheesy

I'd stick to historic types... nothing more modern than a Vulcan or Lightning...

the vulcan was thrown in basically at the last minute, due to my pm'ing little charlie over a flight my dad had when he was in the raf, since the pm it was kept as a surprise until tonight  Wink.

i can see this branching out into a few different eras though.

I'm still sticking with the Spit guys Cheesy For now, I'll use Paul Rebuffat's Mk IXc (probably here at SimV) but if anyone can find a decent Mk II/MK V spit I'll be a happy Charlie Grin

kl kl, well, we would need to figure out which displays to do, how many pilots needed etc etc...

good historic flight, a hunter with 2 gnats either side. saw that a leuchars last year. sexy display.

i like the idea of a dog fight kinda thing. would be a nice touch.

next thing i suppose is, what woudl be in a RAF histrical flight?
