I am thinking about possibly updating my website (at a not inconsiderable cost) because of some advice I have been given. I would however like some more opinions.
So if any of you ladies and gentlemen would care to take a look at www.skysim.co.uk and pass your opinions of how to improve it on this on this thread I would greatly appreciate it.

I would also prefer direct honesty as I am not particularly web savvy myself.

Thanks in advance

I've worked tweaking existing SQL setups in PHPMyAdmin like those found in wordpress but never made my own. What sort of things are you looking to do?

Just a bit of titavating really, I want to find out if people think it is a reasonable looking site (if they would trust and buy from it) or does it need altering to make people feel more comfortable.

From what I have seen the site looks good. It looks like a well made, professional site. I would recommend using (if you don't already) a secure some sort of secure area on the site with something like VeriSign as they would give customers reassurance that they are protected against fraud or anything else. These however seem VERY expensive. Any way however of showing your site is secure should reassure potential customers

The site is hooked in to HSBC Bank. It is - I am reliably informed the most secure way to take payments on the internet. Even if some scrote hacked into the site, they would never get any individuals bank details.
