Hi all
When i try to generate the mdl the _temp.log files, says
............
Start! (_temp.x)
Loading X _temp.x...
Non Normalized normal encountered in part _1_Alas
Error!
Error!
What does it mean?? Which is the problem??
ps: I prefer the way how FSDS 2.24 make the mdl

What does it mean?? Which is the problem??
Is this a part that you did a boolean operation to? It may be that you have a weird normal in a polygon. Check in polygon mode, and "view all normals" to see if there's a normal pointing in a twisted direction.
Also, you should be able to "force" makemdl to run by clicking the "ignore warnings, ignor bad normals"

So do many, but makemdl is the way to go for FS-X.

I shoult to deleted all the polys and remake they
But now i have a new problem, the vc
FSDS 3 dont let me modify the properties of the textures, at least i can assign one, but i cant put the Y axis negative, and when i generate the mdl i can see the texture in the VC with the guages opposed.
I'm tired
with this version, i really preffer the old one, but now it dont work properly

In FSDS3 you do NOT flip the $vc texture. (IT's a makemdl thing)

'ta bien, typeo lento para que lo leas mejol....
En FSDS2 el polígono del vc lo tenías que poner de cabeza, pero no en FSDS3.
También, chequéate que el material del polígono del vc esté en alfa=0.

Hi
Dont name the texture $vpanel call it _panel_vpanel
you will then be able to map and edit textures
when it compiles makemdl will strip the _panel_ off and add a $ so the vcockpit entry in the panel.cfg will still be $vpanel
