I  have been trying  to load  KDEN  afcad into  FS2004 for  the  last  two  days  with no  success. will it  work in  2004 or just  2002?

I  need  real  simple  directions  as I seem  to be  missing  something.  Also  any  feedback on  Traffic  Magician?
Thanks  for your  help!!!!

Hi Thanks  for  the  fast  reply. I  should  have mentioned  that i  am  trying  to  fly  for  a  virtual  airline  west  wind  and  I  was  following  the  directions from their  web site.  http://www.flywestwind.com/Scenery/denverterm.htm

i  just  moved  4  text  folders into  my FS9/addon scenery/scenery  directory  and rebooted  Fs9  but  still no  luck. the  instructions indicate I  should be compiling  and de compiling  with TT  and then  use  Thmas  Molitor's   Traffic  Mover.  I  think it  may just  be  a little  bit  too  complicated  for me.
Any  further  suggestions  would  be  appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to SimV,

The Afcad download is for FS2002 only. The 4 .txt files are 'import' files that must be processed by Afcad 1.x (or the included AFInstaller.exe) which is for FS2002 only.

The 4 .txt files are not involved with their discussion about TT or Traffic Mover (paragraphs 2 thru 5 under Installation in the Readme.txt). That discussion has  to do with modifying a traffic.bgl (AI traffic flightplans) so AI use the proper airport 'layers' created by the Afcad download.

Without knowing what 'traffic' file they are refering to it's hard to give directions or suggestions.

Have you tried looking thru or posting your questions in their West Wind forums? Maybe they have Afcad and traffic updates for FS2004 users.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky
