Confusing, ehh?

Just wondering for any of you who may know.

I have always used Active Camera. I purchased Walk & Follow last year but never installed it.

My question, do I need to un-install Active Camera to use Walk & Follow?

Thank,

DAve

Well I just downloaded the W&F manual and I would assume you need to run either 1 or the other....

I think I am finally going to try Walk & Follow...

I used to have both of them, runs perfectly from what i saw....i mean you got the AC walk in cockpit function and the flyby view, but could also use the walk and follow functions!

Its the best setup, so keep both Wink

W&F is far superior btw, other than no cockpit walk function, you wont go back!!

But from the manual, it seams that there are similar keyboard commands, am I wrong?

Yes, but for both you have to active the view mode...

ie to get into walk mode you have to push *...then after that use the cursors...

And AC you have to select walk mode in the menu...

Ive never actually tried activating both view modes at the same time, so cant speak for what happens

Basically, in my experience running both works well...but i admit i havent tried out every eventuality...

May as well give it a whirl, whats the worst that can happen Smiley

Unless you are going for all the extra features included in it, you don't need active camera or walk and follow to walk around the plane. There are default controls which allow you to do this. I can't remember them off the top of my head but I will try to find them. I think there are a list of them in the Yannick Lavigne's Falcon F50

Edit:
Found them, They are:
Up: Shift + Enter
Down: Shift + Backspace
Forwards: Ctrl + Backspace
Backwards: Ctrl + Enter
Left: Shift + Ctrl + Enter
Right: Shift + Ctrl + Backspace
Zoom In: +
Zoom Out: -
Zoom In Slowly: Shift + +
Zoom Out Slowly: Shift + -

I think you have to use a hat switch or some other way of panning the view to turn though

I now have W&F, but could someone please tell me how to swicth of the W&F menu bar? And also, how do i move around within the cockpit, as soon as i select "Follow" it goes straight to the outside of the aircraft..

Cheers for any help.
