Yeah, I think it is fake since the CCCP-77115 has about 80 hours on the airframe, and the shadows/nose don't look right. Plus, a Tu-144 has never flown out of the USSR. The one in Germany is the only one to leave Russia.

Hi to everybody,
My name is David and I’m the webmaster of the TU-144’s where the picture with the 77115 is hosted.
http://perso.wanadoo.es/tu144sst/index.html
After your commentaries I have studied the picture and now I have serious doubts about if it’s real or fake. If someone can demonstrate to me that the picture is fake, I’ll withdraw it immediately from my site.
I’ll be very grateful because I don’t want to show bad material on my site.
Also I want to say that, although the TU-144 never flew to USA, she made four travels to the Paris Air Show in 1971, 1973, 1975 and 1977 and many others to cities as Berlin, Hannover, Budapest, Sofia or Warsaw.
Best regards, David.

I was wrong. I originally said that was taken from the Santa Monica airport. I made that mistake becuase I recognized the Century City towers. Now, I'm convinced that pic is from LAX, and if the Tu-144 never visited the US, then the pic is fake.
Here's a map of a portion of Los Angeles from LAX to Beverly Hills. You can clearly see the perspective of the pic if taken from the Santa Monica airport would not face Century City. But it fits LAX. And I should have known better. That solid wall seperates Lincoln Blvd from the neighborhood. Lincoln Blvd runs parallel to the runway. Any aviation buff who's spent any time at LAX would recognize that. It's an excellent place to get up-close views of airliners.

Here's a pic of the Century City towers facing south. You can recognize these buildings in the pic in question.

Thank you very much,
I think there are no doubts now that the pic is fake. I have changed it from my site a few minutes ago.
Best regards, David.

Whats the 287.75 meg video?
Documentary that has:
Some never seen before interior shots (inflight pictures of a Tu-114 in the beginning, and later some of the Tu-144)
A small FS9 sequence showing PM2 Concorde and the Thomas Ruth Tu-144
Yet another expert saying that the Tu-144 isnt a Concore ripoff (mainly telling about the wing profile and engine placement)
Footage of another mishap that happened after the Paris accident.
Some footage about the NASA Tu-144LL (there is another link that has a well known landing sequence video)
Russian planes:
IL-76 (all standard length ones)
,
Tu-154 and Il-62
,
Tu-134
