Hi all

I'm working on my first all FSDS 3 plane, but when i try to animated the prop like in the 2.24 the prop dont move in the FS.

I generate the mdl again but this time in the 2.24 and the prop works perfect.

Have Fsds 3 a "new" way to animate the props????

Thanks

Hi Berserk Smiley
you shouldnt need to animate props in either fsds2 or 3 just make sure the name is right, check the name you have tagged the prop (use the drop down list or refer to the makemdl.doc for correct or alt naming),some of the older fsds2 tags wont work in FSDS3.

Hi AuMaV

i checked the names twice, but they're right  ??? the truth is that I dont have the most minimum idea about what could be happening, i didn't change the names when i generated the mdl since 2.24 and that time it worked, so i came back to fsds3 and generated the model again and it didnt work  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry mamaaaaaaaaaa Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What should I do ???

Remember - the naming conventions for FSDS2.24 follow the FS2002 Makemdl SDK.

FSDS3 follows the FS2004 SDK.

Although they appear (mostly) the same, there ARE differences....

tagging a part "elevator" works in FSDS2/FS2002/FS203, but it has to be l_elevator or r_elevator (or vice versa) under the FS2004/FSDS3 conventions.

Grin Grin Thats true  Grin Grin

I used to nominate the parts like prop0_blurred_prop prop0_blurred_disk or things like that to know which one is which one, i tried deleting the addition and it works  Embarrassed
