Jake I had the same problem, its because everyone is trying to download and their download server can't take it. If you keep trying it lets you in.

I use the landclass, AF_2's and BGL's but I remove the textures that overwrite default files and use ground environment instead.

It requires installing VOZ 1.1 and 1.2 to a temp location outside of FS9, removing the world texture files it replaces and the auto-changer, then import the edited package to FS9 and activate the scenery. That way only Austrailia is changed and no other part of the world.

I do not mind the landclass airports and other bgl's but I think the VOZ texture replacements suck for both quality and performance. They also replace default world files which I do not like any package to do.

Some of the textures in VOZ cause performance issues and also overwrite world texture files. I find many of them to not be visually appealing either, especially when they screw up other parts of the world. I use VOZ too, just not the world textures it overwrites.

But it overwrites after making a backup, and I never noticed a performance hit

Problem is, it doesn't just overwrite Aussie textures. The textures look pretty terrible in the UK... looks more like savannah than grassland/fields.

So use a different area Roll Eyes  I find that the North region works very well virtually (no pun in intended) everywhere
