From what I know, this thing is a trojan...it's just sitting in my processes tab in the Task Manager...I don't know how to remove it...I don't want to use Norton or Ad-Aware...is there a manual way to remove this thing...don't like the idea of a trojan just sitting there... Cry Cry

What i've done in the past is close the program in the Task Manager. Do a search for it and delete it. Next, open up the registry editor and remove all entries that mention it.

This has worked for me in the past

Remember, be carefull when editing the registry Wink

Have you tried using AVG, a free anti-virus program?

Ashar, you should be fine having a tinker in your registry, just have a system restore point saved. Dont delete anything you are unsure of, if you are suspicious, tell us what you see in the regedit window, and some of the guys here will tell ya what it is.
Dont worry about it!  Grin

Can I use AVG along with Norton Antivirus 2004? I've heard so much good stuff about AVG...might be worth a download 8)

It's highly recommended you just get rid of Norton.  Keep the Norton firewall software, dump the antivirus program.  Not wise to run two antivirus programs side by side.
